I'm excited to share that I've accepted an offer to join Tesla Motor's Web team! It's quite an honor and I'm excited to get to work immediately with the intent of helping society move toward a zero-emissions future. I'll be working out of my home and from my community space digs at 720 located in Reno; it's an incredible remote-work position to begin this adventure under, and it offers incredible opportunities for growth and geographical change into the future. Did I already mention that I'm excited?!
Tesla's Web team is integral in its effort in accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy.
The Web team is small and tight-knit, based out of Palo Alto, CA, and responsible for building out and shepherding the company's digital experience and Web presence, teslamotors.com, for a worldwide audience. By creating user-friendly, digital features and cross-platform solutions, both online and at retail stores, the Web team is integral in Tesla's effort in accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy.
Tesla believes the faster the world stops relying on fossil fuels and moves towards a zero-emission future, the better.
To-date, the hiring process with Tesla has been the most challenging interview in my professional life, spanning multiple days and consisted of thought-provoking, rigorous questions, both technical and interpersonal (I had the opportunity to ask soft skill oriented questions that I feel are important for how a team works together)—so I am honored for this great opportunity to offer my current skills, experiences and perspective, and, equally important, the opportunity to learn from and grow with my new, talented and dedicated teammates. They're sweet, humble peeps.
